Auditor


Visual Connections, LLC is seeking an Auditor with experience conducting audits related to healthcare billing compliance including risk assessment, documentation of vulnerabilities, reporting and documenting findings. The Auditor will consult with company representatives on improvements to accounting processes and systems. He/she will analyze financial data to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with relevant laws and standards, as well as to find instances of accounting deficiencies and/or fraud. The Auditor may collaborate with and/or oversees members of an analytics team and should be highly proficient in preparing reports related to audit activities. 

 Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide key support in articulating audit strategies, developing audit plans, and managing all planning associated with audit engagements.  

  • Support all areas of audit including but not limited to internal/external communications, research and development, and innovation 

  • Assist in preparing risk assessments and annual audit plans. 

  • Execute audit plans in a cost-efficient manner and recommend actions for improvements and process controls through well-written audit findings and reports. 

  • Identify new areas of research, technical tools 

  • Apply research skills and historical knowledge to make effective decisions 

  • Standardize and optimize audit processes 

  • Present clear documentation of process, findings, and results of audits 

  • Make recommendations to internal processes and external client contracts/processes 

  • Work with data analyst team and independently to build pricing models 

 Required Skills:

  • 2 or more years of audit experience  

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills 

  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills 

  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow 

  • Acute attention to detail 

  • Demonstrated ability to plan and organize projects 

  • Proven leadership and business acumen skills 

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines 

  • Strong interpersonal skills. 

  • Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions 

  • Working knowledge of data collection, data analysis, evaluation, and scientific method. 

 Education Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field, Master’s preferred 

Preferred Skills:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred. 

  • Certified Info Systems Auditor preferred 

  • Certified Internal Auditor issued by The Institute of Internal Auditors preferred
