Comptroller

Visual Connections, LLC is seeking a Comptroller. The Comptroller will be responsible for developing, analyzing, and publishing financial information. They will also conduct audits, lead financial investigations, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Additionally, the Comptroller will oversee the accounting department, maintain payroll records, manage accounts payable and receivable, file state and federal taxes, and prepare financial statements.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Provides the financial information senior leaders need to create forecasts.

  • Ensures integrity in financial reporting by formulating policies and procedures.

  • Creates, maintains, and monitors a system of checks and controls that helps keep a company safe from financial fraud.

  • Works with senior managers to conduct risk analysis including credit, liquidity, price risk, and interest rate risk management strategies.

  • Assist in the design of plans that articulate business growth opportunities which drive new revenue streams.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel)

  • Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software is preferred but not required

Education Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred
