Proposal Manager
Visual Connections, LLC is seeking a Proposal Manager. The Proposal Manager’s primary duties will include managing customer Requests for Proposals, Requests for Information, bids, or other documents describing Visual Connections’ services. This position will work closely with the Capture Manager throughout the proposal development lifecycle.

Roles and Responsibilities
Manages customer Request for Proposals, Requests for Information, bids, , or other documents describing Visual Connections’ services
Establishes priorities and target dates to ensure proposal deadlines are met
Schedules and conducts Kick-off Meetings and manages schedules, writing assignments, color team reviews, compliance and lessons learned
Works with members of the proposal team to write, edit, and ensure complementary graphic design and professional presentation to create compelling customer bids
Collaborates with members of the business development, technical, and contracts teams to ensure proposal content is complete, accurate, and timely
Works with the Capture Manager throughout the proposal development lifecycle
Maintains "master" versions of proposals, including comments and revisions from multiple SMEs
Edits technical content and adds clarity without changing the meaning
Prepares and categorizes information to be added to proposal boilerplate database at the end of each proposal cycle
Required Skills
Exceptional project management skills
Exceptional critical thinking, writing, verbal communication and presentation skills
Must be able to manage multiple proposals at one time
Knowledge of various types of solicitations, GSA schedules and contracts
Must have strong MS Office Suite skills. Advanced skills with Microsoft Word a plus
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to maintain company-wide proposal management information repositories (knowledge of Dropbox and/or SharePoint a plus)
Knowledge of Trello a plus
Experience/Education Requirements:
8 to 10 years’ experience proposal writing or technical writing
3 to 5 years’ experience leading proposals for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid
Bachelor’s Degree in English, journalism, communications or related field required
Shipley or APMP certification required
